About Us

Unique Planet and Molectra are Queensland based companies dedicated to providing innovative environmental designs and marketed products in the pursuit of sustainable ethical "best of breed" investment for both the human population and the planet.

We shouldn't takes Earth's ability to renew itself for granted without our constructive input.

Our motto is "What You Do...Makes a Difference".  In other words, each and every one of us, have to search out and buy products that are efficient in prolonging their use.  We manufacture a great variety of envoronmentally freindly/ rejuvenated products,
please assist the planet by purchasing from Unique Planet and Molectra
The companies were established after John Dobozy saw a need to develop solutions for environmental problems and issues that effect our way of life and our planet.  His strong environmental commitment steered him towards recycling and water related projects.  He started developing various novel techniques to deal with waste and transform them into useful products.

John is the founder of Molectra Technologies Pty Ltd and the inventor of the patented Molectra Tyre Recycling Technology opperating a plant at Loganholme, Queensland. With over 30 years experience in developing recycling technologies, predominantly tyres and rubber wastes, John worked out how to evolve raw materials into value-added products, all of which have benefits to our natural environmental and a long term ecological sustainability.

He also heads Unique Planet Pty Ltd a company with a strong committment towards.......

Environmental Policy

Unique Planet and Molectra demonstrates, that businesses can operate by respecting every aspect of our "Living Planet" - EARTH.

Every project undertaken, values the resources :  Minerals, water, air, plants ,animals and humans, we all are of the same raw materials.
The products/processes developed by our company are the testimony to the excellence of our programs.

Ethical Investment

Unique Planet has developed an environmental and social vision and apply it to our workplace, to manufacturing processes and to products, by extending the usefulness of the Earth's resources beyond current timeframes of use and disposal practices.

Carbon Footprint

Everyone has a carbon footprint.  It is a measure of the impact that our daily activities have on our environment.
The greenhouse gasses we produce have units of tonnes/kg of carbon dioxide, methane and other gases in concentration of part per milion by volume. They absorb infrared light and subsequently warm the planet.

Unique Planet provides an opportunity to offset this carbon.  "Carbon offset" can be used to compensate for the emissions produced by funding an equivalent carbon dioxide reduced somewhere else. By purchasing our products you extend the usefullness, thus cutting back on pollution.
Every product we sell qualifies for a carbon credit certificate.

John’s Achievements:

John had success in designing several tyre recycling machines in 1977 which received worldwide attention.  As usual,   from an idea to a reality is along road.  People didn’t see the need to recycle and initially didn’t trust recycled products.

Began working on other Environmental Technologies in 1979 and attended the

2nd Recycling World Congress held in Manila,  Philippines.

Awarded the renown 2003 Australian Museum Eureka Prize in the category of Engineering Innovation sponsored by Engineers Australia for  MOLECTRA tyre recycling. http://www.amonline.net.au/eureka/engineering_innovation/2003_winner.htm
